Three days of beer, live music, and Ciociaria flavors in the village of Falvaterra
The Falvaterra Beer Festival is a beer celebration that brings the village of Falvaterra to life. Located in the province of Frosinone, in the heart of the Ciociaria region of Lazio, this small town hosts the event with the patronage of the Municipality. Following its 2025 debut, the festival returns in 2026 for its second edition: three days dedicated to beer, live music, and great food, with free admission for all.
The formula is the simple, winning one of classic summer village festivals: the historic center transforms into a large meeting space where residents and visitors gather over a pint of beer, food stalls, and evening concerts. It is a convivial event suitable for all ages, blending the joy of being together with the discovery of an authentic corner of lower Lazio.
The second edition takes place from Friday, June 26th to Sunday, June 28th, 2026. The first two evenings feature a musical focus, while Sunday opens up to a more relaxed, family-friendly daytime atmosphere.
The heart of the event is, of course, the beer, served at the stalls alongside a rich assortment of food options. Alongside classic festival favorites, you will find dishes and flavors typical of Ciociaria, the sub-region of southern Lazio known for its rustic traditions and genuine, hearty cuisine. On Sunday, with breakfast and lunch service, the event becomes a perfect outing for families.
Perched on a spur overlooking the valley where the Liri and Sacco rivers meet, Falvaterra is a village of just over six hundred inhabitants with a history spanning millennia; its name derives from the ancient Roman city of Fabrateria. The municipal territory holds a natural treasure of great value: the Caves of Falvaterra and Rio Obaco, a natural monument featuring a system of karst tunnels that rank among the most evocative speleological routes in Italy. Attending the Beer Festival is the perfect excuse to discover one of the lesser-known but most fascinating villages in the province of Frosinone.
With its simple and welcoming atmosphere, the Falvaterra Beer Festival is a staple in the calendar of summer events that enliven the villages of Ciociaria, offering residents of southern Lazio and passing visitors three evenings of celebration, music, and conviviality just a stone's throw from the area's natural wonders.
The second edition of the Falvaterra Beer Festival confirmed the success of its debut, enlivening the center of Falvaterra with three days of free-entry festivities under the patronage of the Municipality. Plenty of beer, street food, and Ciociaria flavors provided the backdrop for the musical evenings, while Sunday expanded the offering with a daytime schedule designed for families.
Doors open at 8:00 PM with a musical performance by the band RECUP, with beer and food stalls open all evening.
From 8:00 PM, the stage hosts Tabula Rasa for an evening of music and entertainment, with beer and street food.
A longer, more relaxed day: opening from the morning with breakfast, food stalls at lunch with local specialties, beer throughout the day, and background music.
Falvaterra is located in the province of Frosinone, in lower Lazio. By car, take the A1 Rome-Naples motorway, exit at Ceprano, and continue towards the village. The nearest train station is Ceprano-Falvaterra, on the Rome-Cassino line.
Admission to the festival is free. Beer and food stalls with local dishes are available on-site. We recommend checking for updates on the Municipality of Falvaterra's official channels and in the local press.
Do not miss the famous Caves of Falvaterra and Rio Obaco, a natural monument with some of the most evocative speleological paths in Lazio.
