Falconry in Viadana
Falconry Expo is the event dedicated to falconry and the world of birds of prey held in Viadana, in the Province of Mantua, at the Arena Spettacoli and Parco Baden Powell on Via Al Ponte. The event is organized by the Gruppo Falconieri Italiani (GFI), in collaboration with entities from the hunting and environmental sectors.
Flights, market exhibition, and education
The program revolves around the flight demonstrations of birds of prey, the true spectacular heart of the event, complemented by a market exhibition of crafts and falconry equipment (gloves, hoods, gear), sportswear, and products from the sector. There is also space for educational activities for children and dog demonstrations with retrieving dogs.
An event for families and enthusiasts
With exhibitions, stands, and workshops, Falconry Expo combines nature education and entertainment, attracting enthusiasts and families. Refreshment stands and food trucks complete the day, in a green setting just a short walk from the Po River.
Falconry Expo — edition 2026
The 2nd edition of Falconry Expo will take place on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the Arena Spettacoli and in Parco Baden Powell in Viadana, organized by the Gruppo Falconieri Italiani. The program includes birds of prey flight demonstrations, a market exhibition of falconry crafts and equipment, activities for children, and dog demonstrations.

Programme Falconry Expo 2026
The detailed schedule for the 2026 edition will be announced by the Gruppo Falconieri Italiani in the weeks before the event. Over the two days, July 11 and 12, the following are planned: birds of prey flight demonstrations, falconry market exhibition (gloves, hoods, equipment), educational activities for children, dog demonstrations with retrieving dogs, and food trucks. In the first edition in 2025, the flight demonstrations were curated by falconer Leonardo Sciarra, with retriever demonstrations by Mirko Rizzi and Chicco Arcostanzo, and workshops for children by Terre Incantate.
