ExpoCook 2025, the Roman debut

With the March 23-26, 2025 edition, ExpoCook arrived for the first time at the Fiera di Roma, after eight editions hosted in Palermo. The event occupied two pavilions for a total of 25,000 square meters, organized into twelve thematic sectors: professional equipment, indoor and outdoor furniture, hospitality, food & beverage, bakery, pizza, pasta, gelato, pastry, coffee, tea and espresso machines, management software, and packaging.

The live schedule was centered in the Gourmet Arena, featuring Michelin-starred chefs — including Mauro Uliassi, three Michelin stars — and a long series of masterclasses on latte art, cake design, pizza, gelato, olive oils, craft beers, wine, spirits, and mixology. Alongside the shows, pizza competitions were held in ten categories, as well as the regional bartender championship organized by Aibes Lazio and Umbria.

Organizer Fabio Sciortino described the result of the first Roman edition as "a small miracle," highlighting the strong turnout of industry professionals. The event was then renewed for autumn 2026, again at the Nuova Fiera di Roma.
