The Torchiato di Fregona, a rare wine
The Exhibition of Torchiato and Wines of the Conegliano Hills DOCG takes place in Fregona, in the province of Treviso, on the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene hills recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is dedicated to Torchiato di Fregona DOCG, a refined meditation wine obtained from dried grapes, one of the rarest oenological excellences of the Veneto region.
Fifty years of history
In 2026, the event reaches the milestone of its 50th edition: half a century promoting a product that is central to the identity of the region and its territory. The exhibition is held at the Osigo Torchiato Drying Centre, a hamlet of Fregona, where the traditional drying of the grapes takes place.
Tastings, e-bikes, and new experiences
The program includes the tasting of 27 labels of Torchiato and Colli di Conegliano DOCG wines, paired with local products (including cave-aged cheeses), guided tours of the drying centre, and excursions by e-bike through the hilly vineyards. Among the new features for the fiftieth anniversary edition is a Torchiato-based aperitif, which reinvents a traditionally dessert wine in a mixology key.
Exhibition of Torchiato — edition 2026
The 50th edition of the Exhibition of Torchiato is held from May 7 to 24, 2026, at the Osigo Torchiato Drying Centre in Fregona (Treviso). For the fiftieth anniversary, organized by Pro Loco Fregona, the event combines tastings, cuisine, art, guided tours, and e-bike excursions through the hills. Local press (Nordest24, TrevisoToday) reported a +10% increase in attendance compared to the 2025 edition.
27 labels of Torchiato and Colli di Conegliano DOCG wines are available for tasting, paired with local products. Among the new features is the Torchiato-based aperitif, which reinvents its use in a mixology context.
