EVOOTRENDS 2025: the sixth edition at Circo Massimo

From November 28 to 30, 2025, the Mercato di Campagna Amica del Circo Massimo, at Via di San Teodoro 74 in Rome, hosted the sixth edition of EVOOTRENDS, organized by Fiera Roma and Unaprol with the Fondazione Evooschool and Coldiretti Lazio, with the support of the Lazio Region and the Rome Chamber of Commerce.

The central theme was the relationship between extra virgin olive oil and health: doctors, nutritionists, and researchers acted as personal health shoppers for visitors, helping them read labels and choose the most suitable oil for different life stages. The presentation of research on the beneficial effects of extra virgin olive oil in protecting the brain was highly attended, along with in-depth looks at so-called superfoods, rich in bioactive molecules and antioxidants.

The calendar of talks ranged from international market trends to the prospects of Italian olive growing, from the opportunities of oleotourism to strategies for territory regeneration. Alongside the conferences, the public was able to taste and purchase oils from a selection of excellent producers, in an edition included in the celebrations of World Olive Day.
