A Night at the Adria Museum
The National Archaeological Museum of Adria, in the province of Rovigo, participates in the European Museum Night with an extraordinary evening opening. One of the most important archaeological institutions in the Veneto region opens its doors for a symbolic fee, with guided tours and a program of events.
Between Artifacts and Stories
The museum houses the testimonies of ancient Adria, a city of Etruscan, then Greek and Roman origin, which gave its name to the Adriatic Sea. The Museum Night event highlights this heritage with guided tours and in-depth sessions, often linked to new acquisitions or exhibition sections.
An Evening Experience
In addition to tours, the program may include readings, conferences, and an aperitif in the museum's cloister, in an informal atmosphere that brings the public and archaeology closer in a new way.

Saturday, May 23, 2026 — National Archaeological Museum of Adria
- 5:30 PM — inauguration of the new section on the sewn boat from Corte Cavanella di Loreo, with presentation of the restoration (Ilaria B. Perticucci, University of Padua) — free entry, booking required
- 6:30 PM — reading on the theme of boats in ancient and modern literature
- 7:00 PM — preview of Adrikà 2026
- 7:30 PM — aperitif in the museum's cloister (15 euros, by reservation)
- 7:30 PM-10:30 PM — extraordinary evening opening for 1 euro, with guided tours; guided tours of the boat from 8:15 PM (booking required)
