Three days of free festivities in Rome's EUR district, featuring music, street food, sports, and performances under the stars.
The EUR White Night has become a staple of the Roman summer. Every June, the EUR district—with its rationalist architecture, grand tree-lined avenues, and the famous staircase of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul—transforms into a vast, open-access festival space. The event is promoted by the IX Municipality of Rome EUR alongside the municipal Eur District brand, with the support of Roma Capitale and Eur SpA, reaffirming the community spirit of one of the Capital's most elegant and livable districts in the Lazio region.
The program spans three days and is distributed across the neighborhood's landmark locations. Viale America hosts the sports village, padel tournaments, street food stands, and live performances; Viale Europa welcomes dance shows, choirs, children's workshops, and street art corners; the staircase of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul becomes the main stage for the longest night, Saturday, featuring concerts and special guests.
The EUR White Night is more than just entertainment: it is a project that highlights the local commercial and artisanal fabric. During the festival, shops stay open late, and awards are presented, such as the IX Municipality Commercial and Artisanal Excellence Award and the Stefano D'Orazio Award, dedicated to emerging young talent. There is no shortage of social and charitable initiatives, such as metabolic walks and parades in support of local associations.
With its atmosphere suspended between the monumentality of EUR and the warmth of a true neighborhood festival, the EUR White Night has become one of Rome's most beloved white nights. It is a chance to rediscover, on foot and under the stars, one of the most authentic and least touristy faces of the Capital, where residents and visitors mingle amidst music, good food, and conviviality until dawn.
The fifth edition, promoted by the IX Municipality of Rome EUR with the Eur District brand and Roma Capitale, brought the EUR district to life from June 19 to 21, 2026, under the banner of beauty as sharing and participation. The highlight evening on Saturday, June 20, took place on the monumental staircase of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
Guest of honor Edoardo Vianello celebrated his 88th birthday and 70 years of his career; also on stage were Silvia Salemi, Leonardo Bocci, Antonino, and actress/singer Elisa Di Eusanio, with a final DJ set by Ludovica Pagani.
The EUR district is served by Metro Line B, with stops at EUR Palasport, EUR Fermi, and EUR Magliana. By car, it is easily accessible from the Grande Raccordo Anulare and Via Cristoforo Colombo; during the event, traffic closures and parking restrictions are possible along Viale America and Viale Europa.
Admission is free for all activities. Events run from morning until late at night, with the main evening taking place on Saturday on the staircase of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
We recommend reaching the district by public transport and wearing comfortable shoes: events are spread across multiple avenues, and there is a fair amount of walking between areas.
