Etruria Musica Festival

The 2026 edition of the Etruria Musica Festival confirms its dual winter and summer format. The Winter Edition (Jan 2-4) welcomed the new year with three free concerts at 6:00 PM in the council chamber: the Francesco Pierotti Quintet, a piano recital by Jacopo Mai, and the Ensemble Puck performing Claude Bolling's Picnic Suite.

The Summer Edition — 23rd edition began on July 2nd with the Guitar Focus series and culminates at Ferragosto with sunset and sunrise concerts by the sea. A 2026 novelty is the Montalto Marina section, featuring four jazz evenings with free entry on the Fiora River Pier, organized with the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Montalto di Castro and the Mac Lab. Guests include: Enzo Decaro, Domenico Nordio, Yakir Arbib, Javier Girotto, and Vince Abbracciante.

Getting there

Tarquinia can be reached by car via the A12 Rome-Civitavecchia motorway (Tarquinia exit) or the SS1 Aurelia road. By train, Tarquinia station is on the Rome-Pisa line; shuttle buses to the historic center are available from the station. The nearest airport is Rome Fiumicino (approx. 90 km).

Tickets

Tickets for the main Summer Edition concerts are available online on the eventi.archeoares.it platform. Many events are free: the Winter Edition, the Guitar Focus series (subject to availability), and the Montalto Marina concerts are all free entry.

Tips

For the sunrise concert at the Alberata Dante Alighieri, it is recommended to arrive early and bring a blanket or a folding chair. In summer, Tarquinia Lido offers beach clubs and seafood restaurants.
