Edition 2025 — Etna Wine Forum

The fourth edition of the Etna Wine Forum took place in Biancavilla from October 10th to 12th, 2025, at Villa delle Favare, attracting over four thousand visitors. Fifty wineries and oil mills enlivened the tasting counters, accompanied by masterclasses, talks, conferences, and show cooking, with the patronage of Rai Sicilia and the collaboration of the Italian Sommelier Foundation.

Etna Wine Forum 2025: The Fourth Edition

From October 10th to 12th, 2025, Villa delle Favare in Biancavilla hosted the fourth edition of the Etna Wine Forum, which concluded with over four thousand visitors and fifty wineries and oil mills featured at the tasting counters. The event, promoted by the Municipality of Biancavilla with the Italian Sommelier Foundation and the patronage of Rai Sicilia, confirmed the southwestern slopes of Etna as a capital of growing viticulture.

Among the guests were Michelin-starred chef Pino Cuttaia (La Madia in Licata) and Valeria Raciti, winner of MasterChef Italia 8, who starred in the show cooking sessions, and Wine Spectator journalist Robert Camuto, who presented his book "Altrove al Sud". The masterclasses ranged from "wines of the volcano" with a focus on over 230 producers and 1,100 labels, to comparisons of white wines from north to south, and seminars on Etna olive growing and climate change.

Programme

Three days featuring tasting counters from Sicilian wineries on the southwestern slopes, masterclasses ("The other wines of the volcano", white wine comparisons, focus on the Cirò and Val di Noto Consortia), seminars on Etna olive growing and climate change, talks, and conferences. Show cooking with Pino Cuttaia and Valeria Raciti; presentation of the book "Altrove al Sud" by Robert Camuto.

Prices

Tasting counters in the courtyard of Villa delle Favare open Sunday, October 12th, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM; some masterclasses by reservation.
