The Estate Rocchigiana is not just a single event, but a comprehensive showcase of festivities that accompanies Rocca di Mezzo throughout the beautiful season, from July to September. At an altitude of over 1,300 meters, in the heart of the Altopiano delle Rocche and the Sirente-Velino Regional Park, the village becomes the cultural and recreational hub of the entire area, attracting vacationers and curious visitors alike with a rich and varied program.

The program is curated and coordinated by the Pro Loco of Rocca di Mezzo, in collaboration with the municipal administration, the Sirente-Velino Park, the Youth Council of the Altopiano delle Rocche, and various local associations. The stated goal is to offer a variety of arts and themes capable of engaging diverse audiences: from live music lovers to theater enthusiasts, and from families with children to those seeking excursions and folk traditions.

Music, theater, and grand re-enactments

The heart of the calendar consists of concerts, shows, and events that have become true classics of the Rocchigiana summer over the years:

• Rocca in Canto — the village's historic singing competition, now in its many editions, often accompanied by a live orchestra;
• L'Assedio — the grand historical re-enactment that involves the entire village and reconstructs the 1423 attack by Braccio Fortebraccio da Montone, featuring performers, a market, and costumed scenes;
• concerts and theatrical performances by nationally renowned artists, hosted in the squares of the historic center;
• food and wine events and festivals featuring typical products of the plateau, including gourmet walks and local association stands;
• excursions, workshops, and family activities to discover the nature of the Sirente-Velino.
