In the heart of the Val d'Ayas, the municipality of Brusson (Province of Aosta) bids farewell to the Christmas holidays with an event dedicated to the little ones: the Epiphany Race, a fun cross-country ski race organized in collaboration with the Sci Club Brusson. The event takes place on the trails of the Foyer du Fond, in the Estoul basin, one of the most popular cross-country skiing areas in the Aosta Valley.
The Spirit of the Event
More than a real competition, it's a celebration on the snow: children glide on skis, laughing and cheering, accompanied by their families and instructors. The atmosphere is typical of Aosta Valley village festivals, where sport, tradition, and conviviality blend into a single day.

At the end of the race, there's a convivial moment: a snack with mulled wine for adults and hot tea for children, to be enjoyed outdoors amidst the snowy mountains of Val d'Ayas.

How to get there
Brusson can be reached from the Verrès (A5) motorway exit, driving up the Val d'Ayas for about 20 km. The Foyer du Fond trails are located in Estoul, above the village.
