The Dolomites Barley and Beer Festival takes place at the Pedavena Brewery, in Feltrino, province of Belluno, one of Italy's most fascinating historic breweries. The event celebrates the deep connection between local agriculture and the brewing production that has characterized the town for over a century.
The Barley Handover
A symbolic moment of the festival is the handover of the new barley harvest by local growers, who entrust it to the master brewers for the production of Birra Dolomiti, a zero-kilometer beer made with Alpine water and barley grown by local farmers and small producers.
Tours, Tastings, and Music
The program includes guided tours of the plant (by reservation), tasting sessions, food stalls, folk music, an artisan market, a parade of historic tractors, and family-oriented activities. The 2026 Barley Festival
The 2026 edition of the Dolomites Barley and Beer Festival is held at the Pedavena Brewery on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12. The heart of the event is the symbolic handover of the new barley harvest from farmers to the master brewers, from which Birra Dolomiti is born.
The two days offer guided tours of the plant, tasting sessions, food stalls, music, and an artisan market. The detailed program with times and guests will be published by the Fabbrica in Pedavena closer to the event.

The Pedavena Brewery is located on Viale Vittorio Veneto, in Feltrino, a few kilometers from Feltre. It can be reached via the SS50. Nearest train station: Feltre.
