Monday evening shopping, workshops, and music in the historic center of Russi
Dire, fare, creare is the evening appointment that, in the heart of summer, brings movement and conviviality back along Corso Luigi Carlo Farini, the main axis of the historic center of Russi, a town in the province of Ravenna in Emilia-Romagna. For a few Monday evenings, the corso and the surrounding streets transform into a large pedestrian and shared space, where shops remain open late and workshops, stalls, and entertainment for all ages multiply.
The event is promoted by the Municipality of Russi in collaboration with the owners of the central businesses, and is designed to enhance the local activities by involving residents and visitors. The stated goal is simple and concrete: to give new life to the corso on summer evenings, offer leisure opportunities for families, and showcase local shops, artisans, and associations in an informal and welcoming atmosphere.
Each Monday, the program alternates different proposals, built each time with the merchants and local realities. Among the recurring initiatives:
Russi is a small municipality in the Bassa Romagna region, a few kilometers from Ravenna, known for Palazzo San Giacomo and the traditional Fira di Sett Dulur in September. Dire, fare, creare is part of the broader Russi Estate program, which offers exhibitions, concerts, open-air cinema, and family events during the summer season. The Corso Farini evenings have become an anticipated event, capable of combining shopping, popular culture, and sociality in a simple format deeply linked to the town's identity.
Back in Russi, in the province of Ravenna, is the third edition of Dire, fare, creare: four Monday evenings โ June 22 and 29, July 6 and 13, 2026 โ along Corso Farini and in the historic center. From 6:30 PM to midnight, shops remain open and the corso fills with workshops, markets, music, and entertainment for all ages.
The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Russi in collaboration with the central merchants and is part of the Russi Estate 2026 program, which offers exhibitions, concerts, open-air cinema, and family events throughout the season. The detailed program for each evening is defined with local businesses and associations.
Four Monday evenings, from 6:30 PM to midnight, along Corso Farini and in the historic center of Russi:
Each evening: shops open late, creative workshops for children and adults, markets (children's and handmade), games, tastings, and live music. The specific program for each Monday is curated by the central merchants and associations.
The evenings take place along Corso Luigi Carlo Farini and in the streets of the historic center of Russi (RA), in Emilia-Romagna.
By car: Russi is accessible from the SS67 or the E45, a few kilometers from Ravenna and Faenza. By train: Russi station is on the RavennaโCastel Bolognese line, a short distance from the center. During the evenings, the corso is pedestrianized: it is advisable to park in the surrounding areas.
Admission is free. Evenings are held on Mondays from 6:30 PM to midnight. Any workshops with limited capacity may require booking at participating shops.
