About Do, Make, Create

Dire, fare, creare is the evening event that enlivens the historic center of Russi, in the province of Ravenna, every summer. For a few Monday evenings, Corso Farini transforms into a large shared space with shops open late, creative workshops for adults and children, craft markets, tastings, children's games, and live music. Promoted by the Municipality of Russi together with the central merchants, the initiative was created to bring life and conviviality back to the main street and is part of the Russi Estate summer program. Admission is free.

An event that revives the center of Russi

Dire, fare, creare is the evening appointment that, in the heart of summer, brings movement and conviviality back along Corso Luigi Carlo Farini, the main axis of the historic center of Russi, a town in the province of Ravenna in Emilia-Romagna. For a few Monday evenings, the corso and the surrounding streets transform into a large pedestrian and shared space, where shops remain open late and workshops, stalls, and entertainment for all ages multiply.

An initiative born from the territory

The event is promoted by the Municipality of Russi in collaboration with the owners of the central businesses, and is designed to enhance the local activities by involving residents and visitors. The stated goal is simple and concrete: to give new life to the corso on summer evenings, offer leisure opportunities for families, and showcase local shops, artisans, and associations in an informal and welcoming atmosphere.

What to find during the evenings

Each Monday, the program alternates different proposals, built each time with the merchants and local realities. Among the recurring initiatives:

  • Shops open in the evening along Corso Farini;
  • Creative workshops for children and adults: ceramics, sewing, fresh pasta, flowers, painting;
  • Markets for children and handmade crafts;
  • Live music and shows in the venues and squares of the center;
  • Games and entertainment for the little ones;
  • Tastings and gastronomic offerings from the businesses on the street.

Within the walls of a city of art and countryside

Russi is a small municipality in the Bassa Romagna region, a few kilometers from Ravenna, known for Palazzo San Giacomo and the traditional Fira di Sett Dulur in September. Dire, fare, creare is part of the broader Russi Estate program, which offers exhibitions, concerts, open-air cinema, and family events during the summer season. The Corso Farini evenings have become an anticipated event, capable of combining shopping, popular culture, and sociality in a simple format deeply linked to the town's identity.

Do, Make, Create โ€” edition 2026

The third edition of Dire, fare, creare enlivens Corso Farini, in the historic center of Russi, for four Monday evenings from June 22 to July 13, 2026. Shops open late, workshops, music, and fun for adults and children along the corso, in a program promoted by the Municipality of Russi together with the central merchants. Free admission.
