DISSIMOve: Re's debut in the Vigezzo running scene
DISSIMOve is the new non-competitive running event bringing life to Dissimo, a charming hamlet in the Municipality of Re, located in the Vigezzo Valley (Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Piedmont). With its inaugural edition, Re officially joins the Corri in Vigezzo circuit, a sports and tourism project that brings together the valley's various running events throughout the summer.
The race winds through the trails and mule tracks surrounding Dissimo, offering participants stunning views of the Ossola mountains and the forests of the Vigezzo Valley. It is an event designed for everyone: seasoned athletes, casual walkers, and families with children will all find a great opportunity to enjoy the mountains together.
Two routes for every pace
- 8 km route: the main scenic track, featuring flat sections and some climbs immersed in the Vigezzo landscape.
- 2 km mini-loop: designed for children, beginners, and those looking for a lighter experience, dedicated to the memory of Andrea Ghivarelli.
More than just a race: a village festival
DISSIMOve is more than just a running event. The chosen date coincides with the Saint Anthony patronal feast, turning the event into a true community celebration for Dissimo and the entire Municipality of Re. The organizing committee works with great enthusiasm to welcome participants and showcase a corner of the Vigezzo Valley often tucked away from the main tourist routes.
The Corri in Vigezzo circuit
DISSIMOve is the first of five stages in the 2026 Corri in Vigezzo edition. The calendar continues with the Marcialonga in Druogno, La Sfadià a - Trofeo Bonzani in Craveggia, the Trofeo Ciao Marti in Buttogno (Santa Maria Maggiore), and the historic Sgamela'a d'Vigezz. Those who participate in multiple stages enter the overall circuit ranking—a perfect way to discover the entire Vigezzo Valley by running from one village to the next.
DISSIMOve — edition 2026
The first edition of DISSIMOve brought the Municipality of Re into the Corri in Vigezzo circuit for the first time as the opening stage of the 2026 summer calendar.
The non-competitive running event started from Dissimo at 10:00 AM with two route options, coinciding with the Saint Anthony patronal feast and taking on the character of a village festival for the hamlet.

How to get there
Dissimo is a hamlet of the Municipality of Re, in the Vigezzo Valley (VB). By car, it can be reached via the SS337 Vigezzo Valley road; by train, the Vigezzina-Centovalli line (Domodossola-Locarno) stops in Re, just a few minutes from the hamlet.
Start
Meeting point and start in Dissimo at 10:00 AM.
Registration
Registration is handled via the official circuit website (www.corrinvigezzo.it). As a non-competitive race, it is open to everyone aged 6 and up.
Tips
We recommend wearing mountain sportswear and trail shoes; temperatures at altitude can be cool even in summer.
