The modern and contemporary art fair of CremonaFiere
Cremona Art Fair is the event that has brought the modern and contemporary art market to the exhibition center of Cremona, in Lombardy. Hosted in Hall 2 of CremonaFiere (West entrance, Piazza Zelioli Lanzini), the event brings together galleries, publishers, and institutions in a dialogue between modern, post-war, and contemporary art. Promoted by T.O.E. Art Fair with the support of the Lombardy Region, the Province and Municipality of Cremona, and the Chamber of Commerce Cremona-Mantova-Pavia, the fair has quickly established itself as a key event for collectors in the region.
The exhibition path is divided into three sections. The Main Section features galleries presenting a dialogue between different eras, with an international presence bringing realities from Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Serbia, and Mexico to the city. The Art Projects section is dedicated to solo shows, duo shows, and curatorial projects with emerging and mid-career artists, with an emphasis on painting, drawing, sculpture, and hybrid languages. Finally, the Editor section provides space for independent publishing and artist books, both Italian and international.
Alongside the exhibition, Cremona Art Fair offers a rich public program: the Art Advisor on Demand service provides free consultations with advisors under 35 by appointment, the Premio Prospettive (Perspectives Award) supports emerging artists, while the Stanza d'ascolto (Listening Room) offers sound experiences. Completing the offering are talks and meetings on the relationship between art, businesses, and foundations. It's an opportunity to experience art up close, away from the major circuits and in a visitor-friendly environment.
For the Municipality of Cremona and the entire Province, the fair represents a piece of the vibrant spring cultural season, capable of bringing gallery owners and collectors from all over Italy and abroad to the city, in dialogue with the local artistic heritage.
The fourth edition of Cremona Art Fair will take place from May 8th to 10th, 2026, in Hall 2 of CremonaFiere. 66 entities including galleries, publishers, and institutions will participate, with 8 international galleries from Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Serbia, and Mexico.
The Main Section brings together 43 galleries in a dialogue between modern, post-war, and contemporary art, with a focus on Aligi Sassu curated by B&B Arte. Art Projects hosts solo shows, duo shows, and curatorial projects; the Editor section gathers 15 independent publishing houses and artist book creators. The public program is rich with free consultations, the Premio Prospettive, and the Listening Room curated by Michele Lombardelli.
