The Coreno Carnival is one of the most anticipated events in the calendar of Coreno Ausonio, a small town in the province of Frosinone nestled in the Aurunci Mountains, in the heart of the Lazio region's Ciociaria. The event is promoted by the Pro Loco of Coreno Ausonio 'Antonio Lisi' APS, the association that has spent years preserving and promoting local traditions under the motto Ut Coreno floreat. The Coreno Carnival is part of a rich program of events that marks the village's year, alongside the Passion Play at Easter, the Peace March in May, the festivities for the patron saint Santa Margherita, and the summer initiatives of Coreno d'Estate.
