Over four and a half centuries of tradition, between faith, music, and Drone Show
The Forgiveness Festival is the most important and defining event in Corbetta, in the Province of Milan. Its roots lie in the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Miracles and the tradition of the Marian Apparition, celebrated for centuries: with over 460 editions, it is one of the longest-running religious and popular festivals in the Milan area.
The festival combines the religious dimension — with the solemn procession, the Solemnity of Forgiveness, and the celebrations of the Apparition at the Archdiocesan Sanctuary — with a rich civic program that enlivens the city for four days. Stalls fill the streets of the center from the morning, while Villa Pagani hosts evening music events, from ballroom dancing to live concerts, and workshops and activities for all ages.
Among the most spectacular events is the Corbetta Drone Show: in the sky above the Parco di Villa Ferrario, hundreds of luminous drones draw shapes and choreographies in a technological show that has replaced traditional fireworks in a modern key. An evocative moment that beautifully concludes the festive evenings.
Organized by the Municipality of Corbetta with the involvement of local associations and organizations, the Forgiveness Festival is the occasion when the entire community comes together. Between faith, fun, music, and innovation, it tells the soul of a city that proudly preserves its tradition on the outskirts of Milan.
The 2026 edition, the 464th, of the Forgiveness Festival of Corbetta takes place from April 9 to 12. Four days that intertwine the religious celebrations of Forgiveness and the Apparition at the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Miracles with a rich popular program of music, stalls, workshops, and shows.
