A festival that makes you think and smile

Colpi di Scena is the programme of the Cinema Teatro San Giuseppe in Brugherio, in the Province of Monza and Brianza, which complements the prose season with special shows, monologues and civil theatre. A programme designed to offer the people of Brianza diverse proposals, capable of touching on strong current issues and historical memory.

Civil theatre and memory

Among the 2026 titles, Arpad Weisz – Se il Razzismo Entra in Campo stands out, a biographical monologue performed by Gianfelice Facchetti, dedicated to the Jewish coach of Inter and Bologna who was deported to Auschwitz. A show that intertwines sport, history and civil commitment, restoring the memory of a dramatic event of the 20th century.

Authorial comedy

There is no shortage of comedy: Figli di Troia by and with Paolo Cevoli reinterprets Aeneas' journey with ironic flair, with references to current events. An example of the variety of Colpi di Scena, which alternates reflection and lightness, committed theatre and quality entertainment.
