Students and active citizenship around the Constitution
The Civic Education Festival is the initiative that in Isernia, the capital of Molise, places high school students at the center of a journey of active citizenship. Promoted by the Prefecture of Isernia together with the Regional School Office for Molise and the 'Lello Lombardi' Foundation ETS, the festival annually addresses a constitutional theme, translating it into concrete and creative activities.
The second edition, in 2026, focused on Article 9 of the Constitution, broken down into three areas: culture and research, protection of landscape and environment, and historical and artistic heritage. Students produced podcasts, video interviews, and multimedia works, gaining field experience such as a visit to the Chamber of Deputies and meetings with institutional representatives.
The program also included exercises with Civil Protection to observe decision-making processes in emergencies. The final event, with the awards ceremony, was held at the Auditorium of the 'Fermi-Mattei' Institute in Isernia. Due to its value, the project will be presented as a national pilot within the seminars of the Historical Archive of the Presidency of the Republic.
