Cervo ti Strega is the successful integration of Italy's most important literary award, the Premio Strega, into the cultural calendar of Cervo, a village on the Riviera dei Fiori in the province of Imperia. The event brings contemporary literature closer to the general public through meetings with authors, readings, and dialogues, set in the historic center and the picturesque Piazza dei Corallini.
The Edition for the Prize's 80th Anniversary
2026 is a special year: the Strega Prize celebrates its 80th anniversary, and the 13th edition of Cervo ti Strega chooses to highlight poetry and female writing. The event is structured into three appointments that weave together memory, poetry, and the great voices of Italian literature, confirming the link between Cervo and book culture.
The Grand Finale in the Square
The highlight is on July 19th: the final evening takes place in Piazza dei Corallini, during which the winner of the LXXX Strega Prize 2026 is presented. A unique opportunity to meet the protagonist of the Italian literary season in one of Liguria's most beautiful villages, just a stone's throw from the sea.

How to get there
Cervo is located on the Riviera dei Fiori, between Imperia and Andora. By car from the A10 exit Imperia Est or San Bartolomeo al Mare. The nearest train station is Diano Marina. The village is pedestrianized.
