The Cervino Summer Fest is the summer celebration that brings the village of Messercola, in the municipality of Cervino (Caserta), to life. The event takes place in the picturesque 'Padre Pio' municipal park and is organized by the Cermes for Arte e Cultura association in collaboration with the local municipal administration. In just a few editions, it has become one of the most anticipated summer events in the area, attracting visitors from across the Valle di Suessola and the Caserta province.
The festival features a multidisciplinary program that combines live music, cultural moments, and entertainment for all ages. The evenings alternate between concerts, tribute acts, and bands performing great pop hits and 90s classics, with occasional forays into Neapolitan songs and singer-songwriter performances. The event also hosts author talks, book presentations, and theatrical shows, featuring monologues and performances by local artists.
The heart of the festival is the street food area, set up within the park, where visitors can enjoy local gastronomic specialties and traditional products. The atmosphere is that of a grand village fair: tables, tastings, and entertainment create a joyful mood that engages both adults and children. Ample space is dedicated to children and families, with activities and games designed for the little ones.
The event is hosted in the 'Padre Pio' municipal park in Messercola, a green space returned to the community that has become a landmark for local cultural initiatives. Its location, between Via Principe Umberto and Via Lettieri, makes it easily accessible and perfect for hosting the festival's open-air evenings.
A small town in the Caserta hinterland, Cervino maintains a strong community identity and a tradition of popular festivals that animate its villages throughout the year. The Cervino Summer Fest is its most recent and vital expression: a grassroots event that showcases local artists and strengthens the sense of belonging, confirming Campania as a land rich in music, culture, and hospitality.

Admission to the evenings is free. A street food area with paid gastronomic specialties is available inside the park.
