The Caserta White Night is one of the most anticipated winter events in the capital of the Caserta province, in Campania. Every year in December, the city's historic center turns into a massive open-air stage: from early evening until dawn, streets and squares fill with music, shows, lights, and the aromas of street food, in a celebration that unites residents, local merchants, and visitors from across the Caserta region.
The core of the event is the city's living room: Corso Trieste, Via Mazzini, and Piazza Vanvitelli, to which new stops like Piazza Mercato and Piazza Sant'Anna have been added in recent years. Each space has its own identity: from musical stages to areas dedicated to street performers, from a gastronomic village to spaces designed for families and children. Visitors can wander freely, moving seamlessly from a concert to an acrobatic show.
Musical programming is the highlight of the evening, with multiple stages running simultaneously and genres ranging from pop revivals to DJ sets lasting until dawn. Along Via Mazzini, performers, acrobats, street artists, and roving shows surprise spectators of all ages, while lights and scenic installations guide the public along the entire route.
Food and wine play a starring role: the Taste Village comes to life on Corso Trieste, a large street food area featuring live cooking demonstrations dedicated to local flavors, including porchetta, mozzarella, and specialties of Campanian cuisine. It is the perfect opportunity to discover local products in a convivial and informal setting.
The White Night is also designed for children: Piazza Vanvitelli hosts the Santa Claus Village, with rides, entertainment, and family-friendly activities in a perfect Christmas atmosphere. There are also charity initiatives, such as the historic dog parade in support of the municipal kennel, which takes place in the morning along Corso Trieste.
Promoted with the support of the Municipality of Caserta, the White Night has become an identity-defining event for the entire community. The 2025 edition, the fourth, attracted about 30,000 attendees in a single night, providing a boost to local commerce and the vitality of the historic center. A free event open to everyone, showcasing a Caserta that shines with participation and pride.
The Caserta White Night 2026 has not yet been officially announced. The event is usually held in December in the historic center, featuring free concerts, DJ sets, street performers, and food areas. This page will be updated with the date and program as soon as the organization releases them.
The Caserta White Night is traditionally held on an evening in December, from late afternoon until dawn. The date for the 2026 edition has not yet been officially announced.
In the historic center of Caserta: Corso Trieste, Via Mazzini, Piazza Vanvitelli, Piazza Mercato, and Piazza Sant'Anna. The city center streets are closed to traffic, and the event is entirely pedestrian-friendly.
Caserta is well-connected: the train station is just a few minutes' walk from the center, with frequent trains from Naples. By car, it can be reached via the A1 motorway (Caserta Nord or Caserta Sud exits); given the city center closures, using peripheral parking lots is recommended.
Admission is free: all areas, stages, and concerts are open to the public.
