Cavatore: Black Truffle and Piemonte Doc Albarossa

Cavatore, a small municipality in the hills of the Acqui area in the province of Alessandria, has always maintained a deep bond with the land of Monferrato and its most precious fruits: the prized black truffle gathered by local trifulau and the indigenous hillside wines, including Albarossa, a grape variety born from the cross between Barbera and Nebbiolo.

The promotion of these excellences, carried out by the Municipality together with the Consorzio Barbera d'Asti e Vini del Monferrato and local entities, has laid the foundations for an event capable of telling the story of the village through taste, rural traditions, and the gastronomic culture of the Monferrato area of Alessandria.
