Edition 2025 — Cavatello Festival

The 2025 edition of the Cavatello Festival took place on Saturday, August 9, in Largo Ginnasiale «Prof. Francesco Iannicelli», in the heart of Sant'Andrea di Conza. Promoted by the Youth Forum with the municipal administration and local associations, the evening featured artisanal cavatelli in the two traditional variations, typical Irpinian products, and a musical program with a concert by Banda della Posta followed by a DJ set.

The 2025 Cavatello Festival was held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Sant'Andrea di Conza, in the province of Avellino, starting in the early evening at Largo Ginnasiale «Prof. Francesco Iannicelli», in the town center. The edition was promoted by the Youth Forum in collaboration with the municipal administration and local associations.

The stars of the evening were the artisanal cavatelli prepared according to tradition and served in two variations: with tomato sauce and fried breadcrumbs, a local signature recipe, and with broccoli, the more rustic version known in the local dialect as «Triddr e Taddr». They were accompanied by caciocavallo, local cured meats, Irpinian wines, and other gastronomic specialties of Alta Irpinia.

At 8:30 PM, hospitality and food distribution began; at 9:30 PM, the Banda della Posta concert took the stage, followed by a DJ set by Marco Guarino and Francesco Natale, which turned the square into an open-air party until late at night. The local press described the edition as a bridge between generations, between those who have guarded the traditions of the past and those who choose to bring them to life today.
