Two days of engines, driving stunts, and charity in the heart of the Val Bormida
The Cassine Truck Rally is a motor event held in early June at the C.V.P. body shop grounds in the town of Cassine, in the province of Alessandria, in southern Piedmont. Launched in 2025 by the Val Bormida Truck Team, the event has quickly established itself as one of the most popular gatherings for truckers and heavy-vehicle enthusiasts, attracting participants from all over Italy and even from France and Spain.
The heart of the event is the exhibition of modern and vintage trucks, lined up in the spacious C.V.P. yard and meticulously maintained by their owners. Chrome cabins, custom fittings, and curiosities on four or more axles capture the interest of enthusiasts and families alike, in an atmosphere defined by shared passion and professional pride.
The program alternates between exhibitions and skill tests over the two days. Saturday hosts a stage of the national Truck Drifting championship, organized in collaboration with the Romborock association. Sunday is dedicated to the Trucker Olympics, featuring precision driving tests for heavy vehicles. Among the most anticipated highlights are the stunt driving shows by Daniele Quercioli and his son Davide, who thrill the audience with spectacular maneuvers.
Alongside the engines, the rally offers live music and entertainment, featuring Music Power and DJ Fulvio Raseti. The Cassine Pro Loco manages the catering, serving local dishes and products, making the event a convivial occasion for the entire community. The event also has a strong charitable focus: part of the proceeds goes to a fundraiser for the Fondazione Uspidalet Onlus in Alessandria.
With free admission, the Cassine Truck Rally is designed to engage both adults and children with its displays, shows, and festive atmosphere. The steady growth in attendance, which has risen from dozens to over a hundred vehicles in just a few editions, confirms the success of a formula that combines motor passion, local tradition, and a commitment to charity in the scenic Val Bormida region.
The second edition of the Cassine Truck Rally confirmed the event's growth, with 108 trucks, including modern and vintage vehicles, gathered at the C.V.P. body shop area in the town of Cassine (Alessandria province).
