Case Sparse Fest

A festival immersed in the Mainarde mountains

In Rocchetta a Volturno, a village in Alto Volturno in the province of Isernia, Case Sparse Fest has become in a few years one of the most original events of the Molise summer. Its home is Villa Neri, on the edge of the town, and its spirit is that of an event that goes far beyond the musical dimension: "much more than just a festival", as the organizers of APS MainardeLab like to define it, but an immersive and collective experience that blends art, nature, and community.

Music and adventure

The program alternates concerts and DJ sets with a rich schedule of outdoor activities: trekking on Monte Marrone with climbing practice, guided excursions in the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, walks along ancient tratturi (shepherd's paths), and a visit to the evocative ghost village of Rocchetta Alta. There are also craft markets, food stalls, and relaxation areas.

A young scene for inland areas

Case Sparse Fest represents the youngest and most creative face of the Molise inland areas: a festival that brings new music and new audiences to a rural landscape made of scattered houses, restoring vitality to a territory of extraordinary beauty at the foot of the Mainarde mountains.
