About Casal de' Pazzi Street Food

Four days of street food in the heart of the Casal de' Pazzi district in Rome: the TTS Street Food Tour transforms Parco Vittore Armando Marchi into a large open-air gastronomic village, featuring twenty-five street chefs, Italian regional specialties and international dishes, Bavarian craft beer, a drink zone, and lounge music. Free admission, a family-friendly atmosphere, and tables under the shade of pine trees make this one of the most popular Roman stops on the traveling food and wine tour.

A street food village in the green outskirts of northern Rome

The Casal de' Pazzi TTS Street Food is the Roman stop of the TTS Street Food Tour held in the Casal de' Pazzi district, within the Fourth Municipality of Rome, the capital of the Metropolitan City of Rome and the Lazio region. For four days, Parco Vittore Armando Marchi, located between Via Nomentana and Viale Kant, is transformed into what the organizers call the largest street food village in the capital: a stretch of food trucks and mobile kitchens under the shade of large pine trees, complete with communal tables, a drink area, and live music.

Twenty-five street chefs, from Italy to the world

The heart of the event is a select team of twenty-five street chefs, bringing a gastronomic tour of Italy to Casal de' Pazzi, complemented by international offerings. Alongside classic street food staples, you will find meat and fish dishes, gluten-free options, and vegan alternatives, allowing every visitor to curate their own tasting journey.

  • Sicily — arancini, cannoli, and island pastries
  • Puglia — bombette and specialties of traditional Puglian peasant cuisine
  • Lazio — Roman traditions, from Jewish-style artichokes to fried delicacies
  • Tuscany, Abruzzo, and Marche — grilled meats and flavors of the Apennines
  • Mexico — tacos, burritos, and spicy salsas
  • Spain and Argentina — paella and empanadas
  • Greece and India — souvlaki, curry, and spiced street food
  • United States — slow-cooked American barbecue

Bavarian beer, drink zones, and music

The beverage selection is exclusively entrusted to craft beer from Landshuter Brauhaus, a historic Bavarian brewery, while the drink zone offers prosecco, spritz, and cocktails served until late at night. Water is distributed in recyclable packaging, in line with the tour's commitment to sustainability. Accompanying the aperitif is a selection of lounge music, designed more for conversation than dancing: a slow rhythm that fits perfectly with the park's green setting.

An event designed for neighborhood families

The TTS Food formula is that of an extended neighborhood festival: free admission, hours covering the afternoon and evening, and ample space where children can move around safely while adults queue at the food trucks. On weekends, the early opening at noon also allows for open-air lunches. This is one of the reasons why, across the various Roman stops of the tour, attendance is highest on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

The TTS Street Food Tour in Rome

The TTS Street Food Tour, organized by Mela Eventi, travels through numerous districts of Rome and various towns in the Lazio region every year—from Guidonia to Tivoli, from Anguillara Sabazia to Civitavecchia and Terracina—bringing the same formula to squares, parking lots, and urban parks. The Casal de' Pazzi stop, inaugurated in 2025 in a new location immersed in greenery, has been one of the most appreciated editions of the calendar due to the quality of the setting: not an asphalted lot, but a real public park with tall trees and lawns.

The district and its park

Casal de' Pazzi is a district in the north-eastern outskirts of Rome, also known for its Casal de' Pazzi Museum, a paleontological site that preserves an ancient Pleistocene river deposit with remains of ancient elephants. Parco Vittore Armando Marchi is one of the reference green spaces of the Fourth Municipality and hosts sports and community initiatives throughout the year: the gastronomic event thus fits into a tradition of collective use of public space.

Casal de' Pazzi Street Food — edition 2026

At the time of checking, the official calendar of the 2026 TTS Street Food Tour does not include a stop in Casal de' Pazzi: this year the tour visits Torresina, Guidonia, Monteverde, Tiburtina, Cinecittà, San Pietro, Romanina, Anguillara Sabazia, Balduina, Casal Tidei, Tivoli, Civitavecchia, and Terracina. The return of the street food village to Parco Vittore Armando Marchi therefore remains to be confirmed.
