The Carnival for the little ones
Carnavalando is the Carnival event that San Donà di Piave, in the province of Venice, dedicates to children and families. It takes place at the ice rink in via Antonio Canova, transformed for an afternoon into a large play and entertainment space.
Games, workshops and parade
The program includes baby dance, face painting, theatrical activities and the creative workshop "Let's create a mask", culminating in a costume parade with a competition. The day ends with the Bimbobell show and the final awards ceremony.
A party for families
With fritters, hot chocolate and souvenir photos, Carnavalando, organized by the Municipality of San Donà di Piave, is one of the two Sundays of celebration with which the city experiences the Carnival period, together with the great "Carnevale Insieme" parade.
Carnavalando — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Carnavalando takes place on Sunday, February 8th at the ice rink in via Antonio Canova, in San Donà di Piave. The party, organized by the Municipality, is dedicated to children and families.
Starting from 2:00 PM, there will be a succession of baby dance, face painting, theatrical activities and the "Let's create a mask" workshop, followed by the costume parade with competition, the Bimbobell show and the awards ceremony, with fritters and hot chocolate available.

How to get there
San Donà di Piave can be reached via the A4 motorway (San Donà-Noventa exit) and by train (Venice-Trieste line). The ice rink is located in via Antonio Canova.
