Italy's largest LAN party, now in Jesolo
For the first time in its history, Frogbyte leaves Pordenone and chooses Jesolo, in the Province of Venice, as its new home. The event, which has established itself as the largest LAN party in Italy, occupies an entire dedicated area of the Palazzo del Turismo in Piazza Brescia, transforming it for an entire weekend into a gaming headquarters open to players and curious visitors.
The heart of Frogbyte is the BYOC+ (Bring Your Own Computer or Console) format: participants bring their own setup and connect to the local network to play together, compete in tournaments, and share over fifty hours of non-stop activity. Approximately 200 stations are planned in total, including PCs and consoles, complete with a dormitory, bathrooms, and showers for those who stay to play day and night.
Alongside the competitions, Frogbyte offers a retro gaming area curated by 12Bit with historical cabinets and consoles, driving simulators by Project51M for virtual motorsport enthusiasts, and free-play stations. The tournament stage hosts live competitions, shows, and community events, while the FrogTalks address the relationship between video games and psychology. The main tournaments are broadcast live on Twitch.
With its move to Jesolo, Frogbyte brings one of Italy's most vibrant gaming communities to the Veneto coast, capable of attracting players, creators, and enthusiasts from all over the peninsula in an event that combines competition, digital culture, and social interaction.
Frogbyte 2026 inaugurates its new venue in Jesolo with three days of non-stop gaming at the Palazzo del Turismo. The BYOC+ format provides approximately 200 stations for PCs and consoles, with dormitory and services for those playing day and night.
The weekend is open to the public with free admission: retro gaming arcade cabinets by 12Bit (historical cabinets and consoles), Project51M driving simulators, free-play stations, and the tournament stage with live competitions broadcast on Twitch.
