The grand parade of allegorical floats in the center of Camposampiero
In Camposampiero (province of Padua), Carnival is a deeply felt tradition: the parade of allegorical floats transforms the town center into a river of colors, confetti, and music. It is one of the most followed carnival events in the Alta Padovana region, capable of attracting a vast audience from all over the Camposampiero area.
The parade features large allegorical floats and hundreds of participants, accompanied by stalls and entertainment along the town's streets. It is a celebration designed for families and children, but capable of involving all generations in the joyous atmosphere of the Venetian Carnival.
The organization is handled by the Municipality of Camposampiero with the Pro Loco Camposampiero APS and the Department of Productive Activities, confirming the community and popular nature of the event, one of the most rooted in the town's winter calendar.
The 2026 edition of the Camposampiero Carnival takes place on Sunday, February 1st, with the parade of allegorical floats in the town center starting at 2:15 PM. The parade features twelve allegorical floats and about 1,500 participants, accompanied by stalls and entertainment.
The event is organized by the Municipality of Camposampiero and the Pro Loco Camposampiero APS, and it remains one of the most anticipated carnival parades in the Alta Padovana region.
The detailed program will be released by the Municipality and Pro Loco in the days preceding the event.
Camposampiero is about 26 km from Padua, reachable by car via the SR307 and by train (Padua-Bassano/Castelfranco line). The parade takes place in the town center.
