Every summer, during the second week of August, the hamlet of Guastameroli — a charming village in the municipality of Frisa, in the province of Chieti, nestled in the hills overlooking the Costa dei Trabocchi — lights up for Calici di Stelle in Guastameroli. This is the event where the Pro Loco Frisa APS brings the great national Italian wine festival to the heart of the village, blending the pleasure of a fine glass with the magic of the starry San Lorenzo night.

A food and wine journey through the village streets

For one or two evenings, Via Belvedere and Via Filippini turn into a true wine-tourism itinerary: stalls set up along the road, local wineries pouring their reds and whites, and traditional Abruzzo snacks to accompany every sip. Access to the stands and event areas is free, allowing visitors to wander freely between glasses in the welcoming atmosphere of the historic center. The goal, true to the spirit of the Pro Loco, is to showcase the intense aromas and flavors of the best Abruzzo wines while promoting local producers and products.
