The 21st edition of the Busiata Festival was held in Salemi (Trapani) from August 5th to 8th, 2025, with the historic center entirely dedicated to the celebration, from the Norman-Swabian Castle to Piazza Libertà. Eleven food stations were distributed along the route, each with a different busiata recipe signed by local restaurateurs, chefs, and producers, ranging from Trapani pesto to whole-wheat, egg-based, and gluten-free versions.

The opening evening on August 5th featured a cooking show by Giusina Battaglia and entertainment by Radio Time 90. From August 6th to 8th, the 25th "Alberto Favara" International Folklore Festival took place, with international folk groups, while the Sud Street Band enlivened the village streets with street music.
