Bufala Fest 2025: the ninth edition

From September 3 to 7, 2025, Piazza Municipio in Naples hosted the ninth edition of Bufala Fest – not just mozzarella, titled Knowledge – knowledge is in the flavor. The village, open every day from 12:30 PM to midnight, brought together over thirty stands managed by restaurateurs and producers, all with dishes made exclusively with products from the buffalo supply chain: mozzarella and dairy products, cheeses, cured meats, buffalo meat, and desserts.

Alongside the tastings, the program offered free show cooking in the Arena del Gusto, with chefs and pizza makers at work in front of the public, and six meetings in the Giardino delle Idee, dedicated to sustainability, agriculture, fishing, and training, with professors, institutional representatives, and industry professionals. The Terrazza del Gusto, curated with the Dolce & Salato cooking school, hosted more exclusive tastings, while thematic workshops involved families and children.

Among the guests of the 2025 edition was the former mayor of New York Bill de Blasio, present in the square on September 3. Entry to the area was free: to eat, one purchased a menu ticket for €18 (adults), €15 (children), or €16 for the gluten-free version.
