The Brianza Color Run is a beloved event that combines sport, celebration, and solidarity in the territory straddling Carugo and Mariano Comense, in the province of Como. Jointly organized by the Pro Loco of Carugo and the Pro Loco of Mariano Comense, it is a non-competitive 5-kilometer run to be tackled running or walking, with no time limits: the goal is not to finish first, but to have fun.

Five kilometers of color

The distinctive feature of the event is the colored powders: along the route, at every kilometer, participants pass through a cloud of color that covers them from head to toe. At the finish line, the big color party awaits, with collective color throws, a DJ set, and entertainment. It's a visual and festive spectacle that transforms the run into a large outdoor celebration, perfect for photos and sharing moments of joy.

A solidarity event

Each edition of the Brianza Color Run is linked to a charitable project: participation thus helps support local initiatives. This is one of the aspects that makes the event particularly meaningful to the community, capable of combining fun with solidarity. The participation kit includes a sports backpack, the edition's t-shirt, a bag of color to throw, and various gadgets.

Party, street food, and music

The meeting point is in Piazzale del Mercato, on Via Kennedy in Mariano Comense, right on the border with Carugo. After the run, the party continues with street food, beer, and entertainment in the market square, in an atmosphere of music and conviviality that beautifully concludes the day. An event that enhances the bond between the two Brianza municipalities and their vibrant associative fabric.
