Classical music concerts in the halls of Palazzo Arese Borromeo
In the municipality of Cesano Maderno (Province of Monza and Brianza, Lombardy), the ProMusica APS ETS Association organizes a season of classical music concerts in the prestigious halls of Palazzo Arese Borromeo. The 17th-century residence, with its frescoed rooms, offers an exceptional setting for a festival that combines artistic quality and the enhancement of the city's historical heritage.
The season features concerts dedicated to the great composers of the classical repertoire, with a particular focus, in the most recent edition, on Beethoven and his works for cello and piano. Alongside the monographic concerts, the calendar includes events by the Ensemble ProMusica and the final concerts of the masterclasses organized by the association, from opera singing to conducting.
ProMusica is not just about concerts: the association carries out intense training activities, with masterclasses that attract young musicians and singers to Cesano Maderno. The final concerts of these courses become moments of celebration and sharing, showcasing the results of the training work to the public. A cultural offering that makes Cesano Maderno a reference point for classical music in the Brianza region.
Listening to classical music in the frescoed halls of Palazzo Arese Borromeo is an experience that goes beyond a simple concert: the acoustics and the beauty of the 17th-century rooms amplify the emotion of listening, creating a fascinating dialogue between architectural and musical heritage. Over the years, ProMusica has built a loyal and knowledgeable audience, contributing to the spread of cultured music appreciation among new generations. Its seasons, with their focus on great composers and support for young talents through masterclasses, make Cesano Maderno a small but vibrant musical center in the heart of Brianza.
The 2026 ProMusica Musical Season unfolds at Palazzo Arese Borromeo from June to October. Among the announced concerts: on June 13, "Beethoven and the Cello: Early Works of the 18th Century Period" and on June 14, "Beethoven: Works for Cello and Piano in the 19th Century." These are followed on July 19 by the final concert of the opera singing masterclass, on September 24 by the concert of the Ensemble ProMusica, and in October by the final concert of the Conducting Masterclass.
