The village festival in the mountains
The Bosco Chiesanuova Festival is the major summer celebration in the main tourist centre of Lessinia, in the province of Verona. For three days, the town squares — Piazza Marconi and Piazza della Chiesa — are filled with stalls, music, and entertainment, in an atmosphere made special by the cool plateau air.
Taste, music, and fun
The food and wine stalls offer the specialities of the Veronese mountains, starting with the famous malga gnocchi. The evenings are enlivened by live music and concerts, while there is plenty of entertainment and games for the little ones. Among the traditional events, the performance of the Campobanda, which brings itinerant music through the village streets.
A meeting point for Lessinia
Organised by the Pro Loco Bosco Chiesanuova, the festival is one of the most cherished events of the Lessinian summer: an opportunity for holidaymakers, hikers, and residents to meet and experience the community spirit of this corner of the Lessini Mountains.
Bosco Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Bosco Chiesanuova Festival is scheduled for July in the town squares, on the Lessinia plateau. The tried-and-tested formula is confirmed: three days of food and wine stalls, concerts, and entertainment, organised by Pro Loco Bosco Chiesanuova.
Programme Bosco Festival 2026
The detailed programme for the 2026 edition will be published by Pro Loco Bosco Chiesanuova in the weeks preceding the festival (updates on the official Facebook page). The usual structure includes three evenings with food and wine stalls — malga gnocchi and mountain specialities — concerts and live music, entertainment and games for children, and performances such as the Campobanda through the village streets.

How to get there
Bosco Chiesanuova can be reached from Verona in about 40 minutes along the SP6 road that climbs to the Lessinia plateau. The festival takes place in the town squares (Piazza Marconi and Piazza della Chiesa).
