Borgo di Bacco – Food & Wine Fest

The Borgo di Bacco 2025 brought the historic center of Carsoli to life on Friday, August 8, from 7:30 PM. Along the ancient streets of the village, 14 food stations were set up, managed by the Pro Loco, festival committees, restaurateurs, and local farms.

Tasting options included: fried cod, pasta all'amatriciana and alla gricia, beans and sausage, spelt soup, coratella, arrosticini and sausages, bruschetta and cheeses, eggplant parmigiana, as well as traditional desserts, doughnuts, and fried pastries. The wine selection—sparkling wines, labels from Abruzzo, the north, center, south, and the islands, along with international and dessert wines—was curated by a local wine shop.

Accompanying the route, live music and entertainment turned the ancient village into a stage for flavors, colors, and conviviality, confirming Borgo di Bacco as one of the most popular summer events in Carsoli.
