Bollicine in Veroli

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the historic center of Veroli hosted the seventh edition of Bollicine in Veroli, featuring over 100 Italian sparkling wines, strictly Metodo Classico, offered by more than 90 producers, ranging from the most traditional production areas to alternative regions of Italy. The tastings, led by sommeliers from the Fondazione Italiana Sommelier – Lazio Delegation, were distributed across five monumental areas: Sant'Agostino Cloister, Piazza Duomo, Santa Salome Cloister, Vescovado Terrace, and Piazza Palestrina.

The tasting card for the stands cost €25 and included a glass and 12 tastings. At 3:30 PM, starting from the Town Hall, an itinerant guided tasting took place (€55, €50 for members): a historical tour of the city in six stages, with a Metodo Classico sparkling wine served at each stop, led by sommelier Luciano Mallozzi together with a tour guide. The evening was animated until midnight by food offerings including buffalo mozzarella, cheeses, fried pizza, sandwiches, and desserts, along with plenty of live music. The event was organized by the Fondazione Italiana Sommelier, Pro Loco, and the Municipality of Veroli, with the patronage of the Lazio Region and the Province of Frosinone.

From 3:30 PM: itinerant guided tasting meeting at the Town Hall — historical tour of the city in six stages with six Metodo Classico sparkling wines, led by sommelier Luciano Mallozzi and a tour guide. From 6:00 PM to midnight: tasting stands with over 100 sparkling wines from more than 90 producers in the five areas of the historic center (Sant'Agostino Cloister, Piazza Duomo, Santa Salome Cloister, Vescovado Terrace, Piazza Palestrina), food offerings, and live music.
