The Blue Flag Festival is the event through which the Municipality of Martinsicuro, located on the northern coast of the Teramo province, celebrates the prestigious banner awarded each year by the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) to coastal towns that guarantee excellent water quality, environmental care, and high-quality tourist services. Set on the promenade of the seaside district of Villa Rosa, the event turns this achievement into a celebration open to both locals and tourists, focusing on environmental culture and entertainment.

A symbol of the Martinsicuro summer

For Martinsicuro and Villa Rosa, the Blue Flag is a milestone confirmed year after year, the result of a constant effort to enhance the coastline. The official presentation of the flags to tourism operators takes place in the historic setting of the Torre Carlo V, while the evening festival by the sea brings the recognition to the public, with a guest invited to blend entertainment with reflections on the value of the coastal territory and its protection.

The event is held on the Lungomare Italia, near Via Fregene, in the heart of Villa Rosa di Martinsicuro. Its seaside location, easily accessible and overlooking the award-winning beach, makes the evening particularly evocative during the warm July nights.
