Blera in Rock is the music festival that, every late August, transforms Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII in the heart of Blera, in the Province of Viterbo, into an open-air stage dedicated to rock and live music. Born in 2007 with the aim of promoting quality music in the area, the event has grown edition after edition to become one of the most anticipated summer gatherings in Tuscia, attracting audiences from all over Lazio.

Live music for every taste

Over the three nights of the festival, various bands take the stage, alternating covers of famous songs with original compositions. The program ranges from high-energy rock to the Italian indie scene, with forays into metal and singer-songwriter performances: over the years, Blera in Rock has hosted nationally recognized bands and rising stars, offering a diverse and always free musical showcase.

More than just concerts: traditional games and conviviality

Blera in Rock is about more than just music. The square comes alive with traditional games that involve both young and old—from tug-of-war to village challenges—in a festive atmosphere rooted in Blera's community spirit. It is a festival designed for gathering, where a passion for music intertwines with the convivial spirit of the village.

Authentic flavors and excellent beers

A large space is dedicated to gastronomy: the food stand offers traditional first courses, main dishes, sides, and grilled meats prepared with local products, while the historic sandwich shop offers a wide choice of fillings. Accompanying the evenings is a selection of craft beers—thanks to collaborations with local breweries—and local wines from the Tuscia region.

Located along the ancient Via Clodia, amidst the gorges and Etruscan paths of the Viterbo countryside, Blera is a small town rich in history. Attending Blera in Rock also means experiencing the atmosphere of an authentic Tuscia village, with its medieval alleys, unspoiled nature, and the warm welcome of its inhabitants.
