The Bivona Jazz Festival is a summer music series held in Bivona, a small village in the Province of Agrigento, Sicily, nestled in the landscape of the Sicani Mountains. A story that grows with every edition
The first edition took place in 2019. After a break due to the pandemic, the festival resumed with consistency: the 2022 edition (the third) brought names to the stage such as harmonica player Giuseppe Milici with a tribute to Ennio Morricone, the jazz orchestra of the "A. Toscanini" Conservatory of Ribera conducted by maestro Giacomo Tantillo, and saxophonist Claudio Giambruno. In the following years, the festival consolidated its collaboration with the Ribera Conservatory, also becoming a platform for young local musicians.
