Biassa Returns to the Middle Ages

Clinging to the hills overlooking La Spezia, in Liguria, the village of Biassa holds an ancient charm, made of stone alleys and views of the Gulf of Poets. Every November, for St. Martin's Feast, the village relives its past with Biassa in the Middle Ages, a historical re-enactment that transforms the town into a village of yesteryear.

Between Re-enactments and Tradition

On the feast day, the streets of Biassa come alive with costumed participants, re-enactments, craft markets, and food stalls offering traditional dishes. The medieval atmosphere recreated among the stone houses of the village offers visitors an immersive experience, suspended between history and imagination.

The event, organized by the Pro Loco Insieme per Biassa, has obtained the EPLI quality label and is recognized as an Authentic Ligurian Event. These recognitions testify to the value of the feast and the community's commitment to keeping it alive and well-maintained.
