The beer festival that lights up August evenings in Piazza XXIII Febbraio, Amaseno
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
The Beer Night is a festival dedicated to beer that, every summer, enlivens Piazza XXIII Febbraio, the beating heart of Amaseno, a small town in the Ciociaria region in the province of Frosinone, in southern Lazio. For several consecutive evenings, the square fills with long tables, food stalls, and music, becoming the evening meeting place for the entire town and visitors from neighboring villages.
The event is part of the town's rich summer program, often presented under the title Amaseno in Festa, which features concerts, food festivals, processions, and children's activities throughout the month of August. The Beer Night is one of the most popular moments in this calendar, designed by the municipal administration to celebrate the town's identity and vibrancy by offering entertainment for all ages.
Nestled in a fertile valley between the Ausoni and Lepini Mountains, Amaseno is famous for its buffalo farming and its renowned buffalo mozzarella, along with ricottas and caciocavallo cheeses that reflect a deep-rooted local dairy tradition. The village also houses the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta, a stunning example of 1177 Gothic-Cistercian architecture, which preserves the relic of the blood of Saint Lawrence the Martyr. Attending the Beer Night is therefore also an opportunity to discover an authentic corner of Ciociaria, amidst pristine nature, history, and genuine flavors.
The festival takes place in the second half of August, a time when Amaseno experiences its most lively season, featuring patronal celebrations, evening concerts, and activities for children. It is a simple and genuine occasion to spend an evening of conviviality, with a pint in hand and good music in the background.
The 2026 edition of the Beer Night in Amaseno has not yet been officially announced. Based on previous editions, the festival is expected to take place in the second half of August in Piazza XXIII Febbraio, featuring draft beer, street food, and live music. Dates and the detailed program will be communicated by the organizers: check back for updates.
