Baucino Festival

The 2025 Baucino Festival was part of the solemn celebrations in Baucina, in the province of Palermo, held from July 5 to 8 to mark the 400th anniversary of the village's founding and the arrival of the relics of Saint Rosalia. The days alternated between religious celebrations, cultural events, and gastronomic experiences in the heart of the town.

The heart of the festival was the cooking show dedicated to the preparation and tasting of the baucino, the street food sandwich made with strictly local products, curated by chefs Francesco Lelio and Giovanni Capizzi. The program of festivities included a concert by the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra in Piazza Santa Fortunata, musical performances, and comedy nights, in a celebration that combined flavors, music, and folk tradition.
