Non-competitive run and charity color run in Borgo d'Ale
The Batti il 5 Run is a running and charity event that brings the streets of Borgo d'Ale, a small town in the Province of Vercelli in the heart of Piedmont, to life. Born as a solidarity initiative, the race combines a passion for sport with the community spirit typical of Piedmontese towns, turning an early summer evening into a shared celebration.
The event is divided into two parts designed to involve all ages:
The meeting point and start line are at the Church of San Pietro, known to locals as the Chiesa delle Bose, on Via Mazzini, a landmark of the town.
What makes the Batti il 5 Run special is its charitable purpose: all registration proceeds are donated to the Fondazione Casa Regge, a third-sector organization based in Borgo d'Ale. The Foundation provides specialized rehabilitative and educational treatments for children and young people with intellectual disabilities or communication and relational difficulties, focusing on the individual and their family. Participating in the race means concretely supporting an inclusion project rooted in the Vercelli area.
The Batti il 5 Run was born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Borgo d'Ale and the local Pro Loco, in line with the Piedmontese tradition of town festivals that blend sport, social life, and civic engagement. It is an opportunity to discover an authentic corner of the Vercelli plains, also known for its vineyards, and to enjoy an evening dedicated to movement and solidarity.
The event is designed for families, amateur runners, groups of friends, and anyone who wants to combine an evening walk or run with a gesture of generosity. The presence of the children's color run makes it particularly suitable for those looking for an activity to share with the little ones in total safety and joy.
