The Bari in Jazz concert series at the Minareto in Selva di Fasano
Bari in Jazz at the Minareto is a concert series that brings Italian and international jazz every summer to the Minareto of Selva di Fasano, nestled in the hills of Fasano, in the province of Brindisi. The renowned Bari in Jazz Metropolitan Festival finds its most anticipated stage here, amidst the greenery of the Selva and the sweeping views of the Itria Valley: a long series of evenings that turn this 19th-century residence into a true open-air jazz club.
The 2026 program at the Minareto features thirteen concerts from July 24 to August 14, with a lineup ranging from sophisticated jazz to Afro-Latin and Mediterranean fusions. The headline event is the concert by American multi-instrumentalist Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, a multi-Grammy winner, expected on July 31 for the only Southern Italy date of his tour.
The Minareto is a striking historic residence built in the early 20th century in Selva di Fasano, characterized by eclectic Moorish-inspired architecture commissioned by the Apulian intellectual and politician Damaso Bianchi. Immersed in nature and overlooking the Itria Valley, it is now a venue dedicated to cultural events, concerts, exhibitions, and literary gatherings, offering spectators an intimate atmosphere perfect for enjoying live music on summer nights.
The Minareto series is an integral part of the Bari in Jazz Metropolitan Festival, promoted by the Bari in Jazz Association with the support of the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, and is included in the extensive WOW! Fasano summer program organized by the Municipality of Fasano. This collaboration between festivals, institutions, and the local area confirms Selva di Fasano as one of Puglia's most vibrant musical hubs, successfully blending great music, landscape, and heritage preservation.
Concerts at the Minareto are ticketed events, with tickets available for online pre-sale via the Ciaotickets circuit at affordable prices starting from just a few euros per evening. Shows generally begin in the early evening: booking in advance is recommended, especially for highly anticipated nights like the Cory Henry concert, and checking the official website for any program updates.
The Bari in Jazz at the Minareto series returns in summer 2026 with thirteen events from July 24 to August 14, in the setting of the Minareto in Selva di Fasano. The program alternates between jazz trios, original projects, and Mediterranean and Afro-Latin sounds.
The highlight is the concert by Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles on July 31, their only stop in Southern Italy. Other featured artists include the Carola Ortiz Trio, the Alberto Iovine Trio with Daniele Di Bonaventura, the Round About Miles tribute for the Miles Davis centenary, Cesare Pastanella, and Alfio Antico. All concerts are ticketed.
The Minareto is located in Selva di Fasano, in the hills above Fasano, in the province of Brindisi. By car, it can be reached via the SS16 or SS379 roads, taking the Fasano exit and driving up toward the Selva. The Fasano train station, on the Adriatic line, is a few kilometers from the town center; from there, you can continue by car or local transport connections to the Selva.
Concerts are ticketed: tickets can be purchased online via the Ciaotickets circuit. Information and contacts are available on the official festival website.
Events take place outdoors in the evening: we recommend comfortable clothing, arriving early, and checking for any program changes due to inclement weather.
