About Balconi Festival
Half a Century of Celebration in Balconi
The Balconi Festival is the traditional celebration of the hamlet of the same name in Pescantina, in the province of Verona, at the entrance to Valpolicella. Now in its fiftieth edition, it takes place at the beginning of June at the Balconi multi-purpose center, offering five days of events including food, music, sports, and fun for all ages.
Tribute Concerts and Entertainment
Music takes center stage on the evenings, with famous tribute concerts: the Diapason Band paying homage to Vasco Rossi and the Brennero 66 dedicated to the Pooh. There are also rockabilly nights, Baby Dance for the little ones, dance performances by local schools, and Vespa gatherings organized by the Vespa Club of Pescantina.
Food, Sports, and Community
The food stalls offer traditional Veronese dishes throughout the festival, accompanied by the funfair and moments that blend sports, charity, and religious activities: from demonstrations by dog units and rescue vehicles to celebrations led by the Voci dell'Adige choir, and acrosport performances. A festival that unites the entire community of Balconi.
Pescantina and Valpolicella
Pescantina is located along the Adige river, at the entrance to Valpolicella, a land of great wines like Amarone. The Balconi Festival, deeply rooted in the local fabric, offers an authentic opportunity to experience the conviviality of a village festival in Verona, far from the major tourist circuits.
Balconi Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition, the 53rd Balconi Festival, enlivens Pescantina from June 4 to 8 at the hamlet's multi-purpose center. Five days of celebration with food stalls, musical evenings – from Luca Residori's rockabilly to tribute concerts by Diapason Band (Vasco Rossi) and Brennero 66 (Pooh) – Baby Dance for children, Vespa gathering, dance and acrosport performances, and a funfair, inaugurated on the first day with rides at €1.

- 3:00 PM – "BimbAvis", afternoon of games organized by Avis Balconi
- 5:30 PM – "United in Rescue": demonstration by the dog unit and static/dynamic exhibition of rescue vehicles
- 6:30 PM – Holy Mass, followed by a dance performance by Asd Citrato
- 9:00 PM – Rockabilly night with Luca Residori

- 9:00 AM – Vespa gathering with the Vespa Club of Pescantina
- 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM – Religious services animated by the Voci dell'Adige choir

How to get there
Pescantina can be reached by car from the Verona Nord exit of the A22 motorway in a few minutes. The hamlet of Balconi is signposted within the municipal area. The nearest airport is Verona Villafranca.

Balconi multi-purpose center, Pescantina (VR), at the beginning of June. Food stalls open in the evening.
