Aviano's Patronal Feast

Dedicated to Saint Zeno, the community's patron saint, the Aviano in Festa feast is one of the most cherished events in the calendar of Aviano, a town at the foot of Piancavallo in the province of Pordenone. Organized by the Parish of Aviano, it takes place straddling April and May, combining the religious dimension with a large village festival capable of attracting visitors from all over the region.

Over Ten Days of Events

The event spans more than ten days, with the heated Palapleif of the oratory serving as the headquarters. The rich program alternates between concerts, dance evenings, a traditional charity fishing competition with prizes, and food stalls offering typical local products. A formula that has made the Feast of Saint Zeno a spring classic in Friuli.

The musical lineup is one of the festival's strengths: from big names in Italian music—over the years, Bobby Solo has performed several times—to tribute bands, from ballroom dancing to country-themed evenings, there is something for every generation. Local group performances, such as the Danzerini di Aviano, guardians of the town's folk traditions, are also featured.
