Edition 2025 — Autumn Flavours

The inaugural edition of «Autumn Flavours – Hooked Black Truffle Festival» was held in Roseto Valfortore on October 4 and 5, 2025, attracting a large audience from Bari, the Province of Foggia, and surrounding areas. Two days of exhibitions, round tables, woodland excursions, storytelling dinners, and tastings dedicated to the Tuber Uncinatum, a gastronomic excellence of the Monti Dauni.

The first edition of «Autumn Flavours» transformed Roseto Valfortore into a small stage dedicated to the Hooked Black Truffle of the Monti Dauni. During the weekend of October 4 and 5, 2025, the village in the Province of Foggia welcomed visitors from all over Puglia with a packed programme of culture, nature, and gastronomy.

The event opened on Saturday afternoon in the former Church of San Rocco with a photography exhibition on the pristine landscapes and the ancient ritual of truffle hunting, followed by a round table with administrators, researchers, and forestry technicians. In the evening, a storytelling dinner featuring local black truffles took place. Sunday was dedicated to a mycological excursion on Monte Stillo, with a demonstration of truffle hunting with dogs, and a rustic tasting accompanied by local wines. The event, which saw an extraordinary public turnout, confirmed Roseto Valfortore as one of the most authentic and welcoming destinations in the Monti Dauni.
