The Festa del Novello, known as Autunno in Cantina, is the event with which Cantina Pizzolato in Villorba, province of Treviso, opens its doors to present the new vintage of Novello IGT Veneto PIWI: a wine from organic resistant red grapes, with 100% carbonic maceration and no added sulfites.
Sustainable and organic wine
The winery, specializing in certified organic and vegan wines, uses this festival as an opportunity to showcase sustainable viticulture. Free guided tours with the staff take visitors through the production process, while masterclasses reveal the flavors of PIWI wines.
A day for everyone
The wine is complemented by an autumn picnic among the vineyards, a reuse market, a children's corner with games and workshops, and gastronomic pairings. Admission is free and dogs are welcome: an informal and family-friendly event in the heart of the Treviso autumn.
Novello Festival Pizzolato — edition 2026
For 2026 too, Cantina Pizzolato in Villorba is hosting the Festa del Novello, the autumn event dedicated to the new vintage of organic Novello IGT Veneto PIWI.
The day, with free admission, includes free guided tours of the winery, masterclasses on PIWI wines, an autumn picnic among the vineyards, a reuse market, and a children's corner. The exact date, between October and November, will be announced by the winery shortly before the event.
